The Jill Roberts Center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (JRC) recognizes that nutrition plays an important role in maintaining a healthy gastrointestinal tract. We are proud to work with Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Anita Sarin, MS, RDN, CDN, who specializes in providing relevant, evidence- and practice-based nutrition education and recommendations for patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions including, but not limited to, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, diverticulosis, diverticulitis, constipation and diarrhea.
Anita completed a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and a dietetic internship at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Psychology from UIC as well. Anita joined JRC in 2023 after working as an inpatient dietitian at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn, primarily covering gastroenterology patients. Anita is passionate about providing patients with complex digestive disorders the tools and information to improve their health and quality of life.
